Theophilus Chin who refers to himself as an ‘Automotive Manipulator’ has taken to the Photoshops and given us a glimpse of what the Mazda2 might look like in station wagon form.Building off the recently released Mazda2 Sedan, Chin’s makeover leaves me for one, wondering why Mazda wouldn’t consider building a B-segment Estate. There is no Mazda3 C-Segment estate, so the chances of a Mazda2 Estate are remote to none.Saying that, as a nation South African’s in general are not very keen on the idea of Estate cars, far rather enjoying the extra ground clearance and higher seating position offered by cross-overs and compact SUVs.Pity, because to the automotive enthusiast, the estate wins hands down for practicality and driver involvement.
What do you think? Would you buy a Mazda2 Estate?
