A night of glitter, glamour and uneasy-nerves as the CMH Group hosted it’s annual awards ceremony at the Durban Country Club on the 9th of May 2017. As usual, tensions were high due to the immense competitiveness between various vehicle brands and dealerships respectively. In attendance was CEO of the CMH Group Mr Jebb McIntosh whom was duly impressed by the group’s continuous and steady growth and improvement. Amongst honoured guests that were in attendance were Brand Managers, Department Mangers and Dealer Principles all anxious to hear the results of numerous awards up for presentation.

This truly remarkable individual is a perfectionist, yet, reasonable, which allows him to run a very successful and goal-driven Mazda Parts Department.
Next was Mr Vischal Maharaj, CMH Mazda Service Department Manager and definitely not complaining to add to his existing award collection. Vischal was award “The Most Improved Service Department” award. His extensive experience and commitment to attaining 100% every time has made his Service Department run……well like a well-oiled machine. His extraordinary and professional management skill’s has surely paid off.
Mr Kovilan Pillay, remember the name. CMH Mazda Umhlanga’s Pre-owned Vehicle Sales Manager winning the runner-up title in the “Used Car Sale Department” award. With his vast experience and knowledge in motor mechanics has set this truly remarkable manager en route to shining success. Stern leadership, an open-door policy and customer satisfaction is the pinnacle of Kovilan’s duties. In an extremely competitive category and at the helm for less than a year, this felicitous award is due to hard-work, a never-give-up attitude and a strong personality.
